PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Our program is semi-structured with individual activities,
group activities,
supervised free time, and supervised outdoor play. Our
routine may change
due to the activities planned, mood of the children, and
the weather.
Outside play is weather permitting
I do offer a preschool
curriculum. The program includes: calendar, weather,
story time,
holiday/season themes, alphabet letters, number recognition,
color
recognition, shape recognition, name recognition, poems and rhymes,
movement
and music activities, Spanish, Sign Language, and crafts. The
preschool
program is taught September-May.
7:00AM-8:00AM: Arrival, Free play
upstairs(quiet play), TV time
7:30 AM-8:00AM: Breakfast time
8:00 AM- 9:00
AM: Downstairs Free Play, Center time
9:00 AM-11:15AM: Circle Time/Preschool
Time, Craft time, Spanish Class with
Cristina, Music time, Computer time,
Outside time (weather permitting),
inside play otherwise
11:15AM-11:30AM:
Prep for lunch
11:30AM-12PM: Lunch time, Clean up
12:00PM-12:30PM: Free
play, Story time
12:30PM-2:45PM: Quiet time/Movie time
2:45PM: Wake
up
3:00PM-3:15PM: Afternoon snack
3:30PM-4:30PM: Free time, Computer time,
Review, Outside time (spring,
summer, and fall only)
4:15-4:30PM Clean
up, Parent pick-up
This schedule is just an example of our day.
When necessary and depending on the number of children in
attendance,
adjustments are made. Schedule will also vary during the summer
months and
on No School Days.
